This five-day private journey connects two signature cities of Southwest China. Start in Chongqing with its layered urban scenery, old neighborhoods, river crossings and night views. Then travel by second-class high-speed rail to Chengdu for Sichuan Opera, giant pandas, People’s Park and traditional teahouse culture.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Chongqing
Arrive in Chongqing and transfer by private vehicle to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy free time in central Chongqing.
Day 2 — Chongqing City Highlights
Visit Liziba, Ciqikou Ancient Town, Chongqing People’s Great Hall, People’s Square and the Three Gorges Museum. Continue with a one-way Yangtze River Cableway ride, Longmenhao Old Street and Hongya Cave.
Three Gorges Museum is closed on Mondays; the visit may be adjusted or exterior-only.
Day 3 — Chongqing → Chengdu by High-Speed Rail
Transfer to Chongqing railway station and take a second-class high-speed train to Chengdu.
After arrival, transfer to the Chengdu hotel. Enjoy free time around Kuanzhai Alley, then attend a Sichuan Opera experience at Shufeng Yayun according to ticket and theater availability.
Performance time may change according to theater arrangements.
Day 4 — Giant Pandas & Chengdu Local Life
Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, then continue to People’s Park and Heming Teahouse.
Day 5 — Departure from Chengdu
Transfer by private vehicle to Chengdu airport or railway station.
