Day-by-Day Itinerary
The following framework may be adjusted according to arrival and departure times, rail availability, weather, attraction operations and local conditions.
Day 1— Arrival in Chongqing and Hongya Cave at NightChongqing
A private airport pickup will be arranged around your confirmed arrival. After hotel check-in, continue to Jiefangbei and Bayi Food Street, followed by Hongya Cave’s evening cityscape when timing allows.
Return to your Chongqing hotel after the visit. Airport, waiting time and meal arrangements will be confirmed in the final itinerary rather than guaranteed in advance.
Day 2— Chongqing’s History, Hills and Old StreetsChongqing
Begin with hotel pickup for the China Three Gorges Museum and Chongqing People’s Great Hall area. Continue to the Liziba viewing point and Testbed 2, also known as Eling Second Factory.
Walk selected sections of the Mountain City Trail before visiting Xiahaoli and Longmenhao Old Street. The sequence may change with traffic, opening arrangements and walking conditions before returning to the hotel.
Day 3— Eighteen Steps and High-Speed Rail to ChengduChongqing · Chengdu
After hotel pickup, visit the Shibati or Eighteen Steps Traditional Area, then transfer to Chongqing West Railway Station.
Travel by confirmed second-class high-speed rail to Chengdu East Railway Station. A private transfer will meet you for hotel check-in. The rest of the day is free; Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li may be considered as independent evening options rather than guaranteed guided visits.
Day 4— Qingcheng Mountain and DujiangyanQingcheng Mountain · Dujiangyan
Travel from your Chengdu hotel to Qingcheng Mountain for a visit shaped around the group’s pace, local access and weather conditions.
Continue to the Dujiangyan irrigation landscape. An evening visit to the Nanqiao area may be arranged when timing and local conditions allow, followed by the return to your Chengdu hotel.
Day 5— Giant Pandas and Chengdu CultureChengdu
Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Panda visibility and activity vary with the time of day, weather and the animals’ condition, so no particular behavior can be guaranteed.
Continue to Eastern Suburb Memory, attend a Sichuan Opera performance under the confirmed arrangement, and visit Kuanzhai Alley before returning to the hotel.
Day 6— Rail Journey to the Jiuzhaigou AreaChengdu · Jiuzhaigou Area
Transfer from the hotel to Chengdu East Railway Station for a confirmed train toward Songpan Station or Huanglongjiuzhai Station. The final station and departure time depend on actual ticket availability and the agreed itinerary.
Continue by road through the Zhongcha Valley area and check in near the entrance to Jiuzhaigou. No specific Zhongcha activity, admission or duration is included unless it appears in the final written plan.
Day 7— Full-Day Jiuzhaigou National Park ExperienceJiuzhaigou
Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou’s alpine lakes, forests, waterfalls and water landscapes, using the park sightseeing vehicle included in the confirmed arrangement.
Specific valleys, lakes and the visit sequence depend on daily opening conditions and park operations. Stay in the Jiuzhaigou area for the night.
Day 8— Huanglong and Return to ChengduHuanglong · Chengdu
Depart the Jiuzhaigou area for Huanglong. The uphill cableway is included, while the order and extent of the visit remain subject to attraction opening, weather and operating conditions.
Continue to Huanglongjiuzhai Station for the confirmed second-class train to Chengdu East. A private transfer will meet you for the journey to your Chengdu hotel.
Day 9— Free Time and DepartureChengdu
Enjoy a relaxed morning and, when the flight schedule permits, some independent free time in the city.
A private airport transfer will be arranged according to the confirmed departure flight. The available free time depends on the required airport transfer and check-in schedule.
