Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Chengdu
Private airport or railway-station pickup and transfer to your Chengdu hotel. Free time after check-in, with Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li convenient for an independent evening visit.
Day 2 – Leshan Giant Buddha & Local Food Culture
Drive to Leshan and visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, the monumental Tang-dynasty cliff-carved Maitreya Buddha at the confluence of the Min, Qingyi and Dadu rivers. Continue to Suji Ancient Town, a historic town associated with the local qiaojiao beef tradition. Later, explore Zhanggongqiao food street for a taste of Leshan specialties before returning to Chengdu.
Day 3 – Sanxingdui Museum & Dujiangyan
Visit Sanxingdui Museum to discover the bronze art and archaeological legacy of the ancient Shu civilization. The standard museum commentary is currently arranged as a shared group explanation of around 20 guests due to museum rules.
Continue to Dujiangyan, where private commentary is included. Later, stop at Yangtianwo Square and Nanqiao Bridge, with the illuminated riverside view subject to seasonal lighting and local conditions.
Day 4 – Giant Pandas & Chengdu Local Life
Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, then continue to People’s Park and Heming Teahouse. In the afternoon, enjoy free time around Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li.
Day 5 – Du Fu, Three Kingdoms & Sichuan Opera
Visit Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Wuhou Shrine before strolling through Kuanzhai Alley. Later, enjoy a Sichuan Opera performance featuring traditional acts and face-changing. Exact show time may vary according to ticket availability.
Day 6 – Departure from Chengdu
Free time according to your departure schedule, followed by a private transfer to the airport or railway station.
